New Quatre Bras Project - Nuovo progetto Quatre Bras

The Duke of Wellington and the first group of miniatures
for the Quatre Bras project.
I'm doing the Anglo-allied army of the Duke of Wellington who fought the battle of Quatre Bras, June 16, 1815, a prelude to the more famous Battle of Waterloo.
The idea is to recreate (with the 28 mm) the most representative units of the Anglo-allied and French armies with the help of friends Federico (French) and Daniel (British).
The project aims to re fight Quatre Bras at 1:100 or 1:125 scale (1 figure = 100-125 real men).
My collection for now, includes the units in the list below.

British 1st Foot Guards (painted by Luca of "STRATEGIANOVA")

On January 4, 2013 I played an imaginary battle in 1815 with "Shako IIand 28mm miniatures.
I was a guest of my friend Federico. He created the scenario.
I also enjoyed the cooking of his mother!
Many of the miniatures were painted by Frederick, those of my collection have been painted by the staff of "Strategianova" of Rome http://strategianova.it.
Here are some pictures of the battle.

Guerra Peninsulare con “Corpo d’Armata” - Peninsular War with "Army Corps"

Some months ago Antonino Di Bartolo, of Wargame Association "Le Grenadier" of Rome wanted to test its Rrules "Army Corps" for Napoleonic wargame in 28 mm.
These are some photos of the game. The miniatures were painted by members of the club and the game was held at "Sologiochi" of Rome.
The scenario, imagery, has suggested a clash between British and French troops in the Iberian Peninsula, around 1808-09.
For the record, the British infantry has rejected the French, while the British cavalry has suffered many losses and has had to withdraw.
